Each session is 120 minutes long, plus a 5-minute break.

Hi everyone!
Welcome to the Upper Beginner 2 course!

This course is designed for learners who already have a solid N5 foundation and are ready to express ideas more precisely, naturally, and confidently in Japanese.

In this course, we will practice a lot of conversation.
Classes will be conducted mainly in Japanese, so you can get used to thinking and responding naturally.
Through role plays and games, you’ll enjoy plenty of fun conversation practice with your classmates!

  • Describing Actions With and Without Completion
    例:ネクタイをして会社に行きます。(ネクタイをしてかいしゃにいきます。)
    例:ネクタイをしないで会社に行きます。(ネクタイをしないでかいしゃにいきます。)
  • Expressing an alternative action – Doing one thing instead of another.
    例:どこにも出かけないで、家でゆっくりします。(どこにもでかけないで、いえでゆっくりします。)
  • Conditional Expressions – Learn a new conditional form and how it differs from previously learned ones.
