If there are unfamiliar words in the sentences above, there’s no need to worry. Before the course begins, we will provide you with a mini vocabulary booklet and e-books that explain the grammar points you’ll need to know.
Course Approach
In the Beginner 2 course, lessons will be conducted mostly in Japanese from the very beginning, using sentence structures like the ones shown above. As the course progresses, the Japanese sentence patterns and vocabulary will gradually increase. However, I’ll only use content you’ve already learned, so it will remain manageable.
Although Japanese is the primary language of instruction, I will explain things in English when the concept is too complex, when more detailed clarification is needed, or if you’re feeling confused. I’ll also use plenty of visual aids and pictures to help you understand, so there’s absolutely no need to worry! If you don’t understand the sentences above at all, we recommend joining the Beginner 1 course (5-week course). By completing this Beginner 1 course, you will be able to fully understand all the sentences written here. Please sign up for the waiting list from the Beginner 1 course page.
In Beginner 1, we mainly focused on basic noun sentences like “I am a student.” In this Beginner 2 course, we will start using verb and adjective sentences, so you can express more ideas in Japanese.
I strongly believe that learning Japanese in Japanese is the fastest way to improve. This is the standard method used in Japanese language schools in Japan, and I have been teaching this way for a long time, so there’s nothing to worry about.
Also, if you have already studied Japanese on your own but haven’t had opportunities to practice speaking, this course will help you improve your conversation skills.
I’ve taught many complete beginners who started from zero, and I’ve conducted over 7,000 lessons—so you can feel confident and relaxed in my classes 😊
In addition to the group lessons, you can also book a 15-minute session each week for one-on-one practice or to ask any questions you may have.
This way, you can feel comfortable throughout the course.
